Purpose
The Agile Maturity Assessment gives each platform a clear baseline, target level and practical improvement path. It is deliberately simple: one workbook, one platform filter, blank scoring fields and guidance kept separate from the input sheet.
FY27 cadence
Complete two assessment cycles across the in-scope platform teams during FY27. Use the first cycle as the baseline and the second cycle to evidence maturity movement and improvement themes.
Platforms: Data, Commercial, Marketing, Events Data and IT.
How to complete the assessment
Keep the session focused on evidence, target maturity and the next practical action.
Select the platform
Use the Platform column filter in the Assessment sheet to show one platform at a time.
Facilitate the conversation
Review each statement with the Scrum Master, Product Owner and relevant delivery or platform leads.
Agree the current level
Use evidence rather than opinion. If evidence is missing or inconsistent, score conservatively.
Agree the target level
Choose the next realistic level. Lower maturity teams should usually target level 2 or 3 before aiming higher.
Capture evidence and actions
Record links, examples, decisions, caveats and only the improvement actions required to move one level higher.
Upload the completed assessment
Use the upload page to log the completed workbook, update the submission checklist and build historical score views over time.
Scoring principles
Use these rules to keep scoring consistent across platforms and assessment cycles.
Facilitator prompts
Use these questions when scores feel subjective or when the group is debating between two levels.
What evidence can we show?
Prevents the session becoming opinion-led.
What happens on a bad week?
Tests whether the practice is reliable or only works when things are calm.
Who owns this today?
Surfaces role ambiguity and single points of failure.
What would move us one level higher?
Turns scoring into a practical improvement plan.
What should we stop doing?
Helps remove process theatre and unnecessary ceremony.
